We want to make it as easy for you to pay as possible, without causing you or us additional fees (such as most credit card gateways charge). We don't like having to add charges for making payment by certain methods - all people do, just most include it in the price regardless how you pay & thus make a profit from it! We give you a choice of how you can pay saving you money! As a small business we can't afford big business banking/card machines without impacting our prices, so are generally a CASH ON COLLECTION business but we do have currently the following methods of payment available:
 

1. Cash on collection: this our standard method of payment and ALWAYS THE METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR NEW CUSTOMERS (excluding mail order) thus avoiding any embarrassment of bounced cheques, being chased for payment etc! Please do not be offended when your cash is checked with anti-forgery detectors, this is standard practice to protect us both - who knows where the cash came from before you got it?
    

2. Cheque with ID and guarantee card: passport/driving licence with photo required to verify ownership of cheque book, must be accompanied by a guarantee card. Cheque can only be written up to value of guarantee card so multiple cheques may be needed.
    

3. Cheque in advance: this is suitable for people who do not have a guarantee card, at least 7 working days are needed for the cheque to safely clear before the date of work on your car. Any additional costs would be payable in cash upon collection of your car.
    

4. Bank Transfer and deposit: this is FREE and easy, either go online (or in) to your bank, present them with our bank details and tell them how much money to transfer! Alternatively go into our bank and pay the money in. Note this has to be done in advance so the money clears into our account before the date of work on your car. If paying a cheque into our account the usual 7 days minimum for it to clear apply. Any additional costs would be payable by cash upon collection.
    

5. Paypal: 5% surcharge for this method to cover the admin and fees Paypal charge us to receive your money (see here). You can use your bank account, credit or debit cards to fund your Paypal account - commonly used to pay for Ebay items. If you have a paypal account we can accept payment in advance from it. Additional costs would be payable by additional paypal prior to collection or cash upon collection.
    

6. Credit/Debit card: we have NO credit card facilities as such, however if you link your credit card to your paypal account when paying with paypal you can choose to fund it from your credit card and thus use your credit card to pay via the medium of Paypal.
